From The Philippines, she es Ana, the ninth girl.

Northwest Manila, in an indigenous community relocated after Mount Pinatubo eruption, we met Ana who through her smile and love for nature, gave voice to the ninth child of "Twelve".

Philippines as far as the project is concerned always had high expectations. When Juan Carlos was working at IPC met Edicio de la Torre, a Filipino man who has taken education as a tool and weapon to confront the injustices of the system in his country. He and the common history between the Philippines and Mexico brought these islands on the list of possibilities. However, the decision became final in September last year, when IPC was visited by a group of people who fights for the rights of children and works with street children in the Philippines. Their presented work, impressed us, but it was especially the warmth of the people of Stairway Foundation Inc., the final detail which definitely invited us to this country.

When we landed at Manila airport, we were greeted by people(thanks Dada, Kai and Arnold) of Education for Life Foundation (ELF), organization where Edicio works, we explained them our project and immediately thought of connecting us with people of Lakas, in Zambales (north-west of Manila) . So accompanied by a team of ELF members, we reach the community; we met them and explained our project and our intention to leave something in return. In response immediately gave us a name: Ana She arrived the next day with her mother. We did the recording and took pictures of her with her family. Ana left in the ninth place, no doubt, a warm smile, a genuine content in her answers and a youthful freshness that appears in the video and still photos, worthy representation of such a country, so interesting, colorful and with so many natural privileges.
